1. Who We Are (Data Controller)

This Privacy Policy explains how NEY-MARKETING PUBLICIDADE & REPRESENTACOES LTDA - EPP (“we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of The Vita News (thevitanews.com, the “Site”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit the Site. We are an independent affiliate publisher: we present product information and link to authorized third-party retailers. We are not the manufacturer or the retailer of the products featured, and any order you place is completed on the retailer’s own checkout under the retailer’s own privacy policy.

The company responsible for personal data collected through this Site is NEY-MARKETING PUBLICIDADE & REPRESENTACOES LTDA - EPP, CNPJ 55.062.587/0001-55, R. Luiz Grassmann 691, Sala 14, Jd Mirante, Sao Paulo/SP, 05801-050, Brazil. For any privacy request or question, contact us at contact@thevitanews.com.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

Depending on how you interact with the Site, we may collect:

  • Information you provide — such as your name and email address if you contact us.
  • Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, device and online identifiers, operating system, referring/exit pages, pages viewed, and interaction events (such as clicks on outbound links).
  • Cookies and similar technologies — identifiers used for analytics, advertising measurement, and conversion attribution (see Section 6 and our Cookie Policy).

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as health information) through this Site, and we do not intentionally transmit sensitive personal data to our advertising partners.

3. Purposes of Processing and Legal Basis

We use personal data to operate, secure, and improve the Site; to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and attribute conversions; to understand which pages are visited; to respond to inquiries; and to comply with legal obligations.

Where required by applicable law, our legal bases are: your consent (for analytics and advertising cookies and similar technologies — collected through the consent banner shown on our pages); our legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site and measuring our own marketing); and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Advertising, Tracking, and Data Sharing With Third Parties

Individual end-user tracking, and data sharing with third parties for advertising and marketing purposes, takes place on this Site. We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to measure ad performance and attribute conversions. For these purposes we may share online identifiers, click identifiers, and usage data with advertising and analytics providers — in particular Microsoft Advertising, through the UET tag described below.

Microsoft Advertising (UET): This Site uses the Microsoft Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag. Through it, Microsoft collects or receives personal data from users of this Site for conversion tracking, analytics, and advertising purposes. For details on how Microsoft processes this data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We do not sell your personal data for money. Some sharing of identifiers with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under certain U.S. state laws; Section 8 explains how to opt out. On this Site, non-essential tracking technologies are activated only after you accept them via the consent banner.

5. Retention Periods and International Transfers

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above — for example, analytics and advertising measurement data is kept only as long as needed to evaluate and report on our campaigns — or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

We operate internationally: your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and Brazil. Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

6. Cookies and Your Consent Choices

We use strictly necessary technologies to run the Site, and analytics/advertising cookies and scripts to measure marketing performance. Non-essential cookies and tracking scripts are loaded only if you accept them through the consent banner displayed on our pages.

To give or withdraw consent at any time, use the “Cookie preferences” control available on our pages (shown after you make your first choice), or adjust your browser settings. Withdrawing consent takes effect for your subsequent page views. For full detail on each cookie category, see our Cookie Policy.

7. Your Privacy Rights and How to Exercise Them

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data; to withdraw consent; and to opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale”/“sharing” of your personal data.

  • Where consent is required by applicable law, you may give it or withdraw it at any time via the consent banner / “Cookie preferences” control on the Site, or by emailing us.
  • Where opt-out rights apply, you may exercise them by emailing contact@thevitanews.com with the subject line “Privacy Request”. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com.

We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of non-essential tracking where required by law. We will never discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

8. U.S. State Privacy Rights (California CPRA and Others)

If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or another U.S. state with an applicable privacy law, you have specific rights. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), these include: the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal data collected, the categories of sources, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared; the right to delete and to correct; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data; and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal data.

Categories of personal data we collect: identifiers (e.g., IP address, online and click identifiers), and internet or other electronic network activity information (browsing and interaction data); plus contact details if you email us. Categories of recipients: advertising and analytics providers (in particular Microsoft Advertising) and our service providers. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit.

To exercise any of these rights — including opting out of “sale”/“sharing” — email contact@thevitanews.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. You may use an authorized agent, and we will verify requests as required by law. We also honor Global Privacy Control signals as a valid opt-out for covered residents.

9. Children’s Privacy

This Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision, and the current version will always be posted on this page.
